Zhuang Fangyi Party, Usage, Gear Setup, Skill Priority

Zhuang Fangyi top party slot is Perlica, and the second slot is Arclight.
Party Composition
Zhuang Fangyi is Electric, so she fits well with existing Electric teams such as Perlica, Arclight, Last Rite, and Avywenna.
Perlica and Arclight have quickly risen as the community main picks. Build around them first, then fill the remaining slots. (Community pick rate 90~100%)
Perlica is Zhuang Fangyi most reliable partner because she provides essential Electric Infliction and improves Shock uptime. (Pick rate 100%)
Arclight serves as a Vanguard recovering team SP (skill gauge) and helps the Electric Infliction party cycle. (Pick rate 90%)
From Avywenna onward, pick rates drop sharply, and choices start to vary by situation and preference. (Pick rate 40%)
Last Rite, despite her appearance, is surprisingly a support by trade. She amplifies and also handles some healing. (Pick rate 30%)
Gilberta, Ardelia, Alesh, Akekuri, and others are also used, each at 30% pick rate or below.
The table below shows early-stage global community pick rates. Pick rates can change over time as combat conditions and future patches evolve.
| Operator | Pick Rate (%) |
|---|---|
| Perlica | 100 |
| Arclight | 90 |
| Avywenna | 40 |
| Last Rite | 30 |
| Gilberta | 30 |
| Ardelia | 20 |
| Alesh | 20 |
| Akekuri | 10 |
Zhuang Fangyi Key Traits
Zhuang Fangyi biggest trait is repeating Arts Infliction (Electric Infliction) and Arts Abnormal (Shock) consumption while managing Thunderblade stacks.
Arts Infliction comes before Arts Abnormal, so faster and more frequent infliction leads to more frequent Shock, which is the foundation of peak DPS.
Thunderblade stacks start at 0. After 3 stacks, if Shock consumption conditions are not met, stacking beyond 3 toward the 9-stack peak slows down.
Zhuang Fangyi also appears relatively ultimate-dependent, so entering ultimate quickly and often is the shortcut to peak DPS.
As a micro tip, moving shots feel smoother during ultimate, so you can kite boss attacks with moving-shot habits.
Beginners will likely get stuck on the repeat cycle of Arts Infliction (Electric Infliction) and Arts Abnormal (Shock) consumption.
These concepts are difficult on their own, so a simple analogy follows below.
Arts Infliction and Arts Abnormal
As a simple analogy, imagine a warning ticket placed on an illegally parked car.
Police attach a warning ticket, wait a while, and eventually call a tow truck to impound the vehicle.
The key point is that even police cannot skip the warning ticket and go straight to impoundment.
The warning ticket must come first before impoundment can happen.
In the end, the warning ticket is Arts Infliction, and impoundment is Arts Abnormal.
In soccer terms, a yellow card is Arts Infliction and a red card is Arts Abnormal.
What we mainly want is Arts Abnormal, while Arts Infliction is the ingredient used to create it. (There are multiple recipes.)
Usage
Now that you understand Arts Infliction and Arts Abnormal, you need to understand what repeating infliction and consumption means.
The reason is that Zhuang Fangyi gains benefits when consuming Shock with her Battle Skill (BS). At first, it may be hard to intuit why Shock must be consumed.
Remember this rule: if the enemy has Shock, Zhuang Fangyi uses her Battle Skill.
As learned above, Shock (Arts Abnormal) requires Electric Infliction (Arts Infliction) first.
That is why Perlica, who helps with Electric Infliction, rose to the top pick.
Perlica also has a skill that skips Electric Infliction and goes straight to Shock, called [Forced Shock]. Unfortunately it does not synergize well with normal Shock and lasts shorter than the base 12-second Shock, but it is not a major concern. (About 7.5 seconds at Perlica full potential.)
In short, the cycle is built from party skills that help Electric Infliction and Shock. When Shock stacks quickly, Zhuang Fangyi consumes it with Battle Skill to maximize DPS, then returns to Electric Infliction. This is the repeat cycle of Arts Infliction and consumption.
Also remember: if Electric Infliction is applied, Zhuang Fangyi can trigger her Combo Skill with a heavy strike (basic attack finisher) to convert Electric Infliction into Shock.
So even if party members cannot convert Electric Infliction to Shock quickly, Zhuang Fangyi can still do it herself.
During ultimate, the Arts infliction and consumption cycle speeds up along with nearly all skill animations. Thunderblades should already be placed near 9 stacks on the ground before ultimate for peak DPS.
Thunderblade stacks grow naturally up to 3, but from stack 4 onward they require consuming Shock with Battle Skill. Using Battle Skill without Shock wastes SP (skill gauge) and causes DPS loss.
In summary, Zhuang Fangyi usage is: inflict Electric quickly, convert it to Shock quickly, consume Shock with Battle Skill to build Thunderblades, repeat, then use ultimate and burst again with pre-placed Thunderblades and the faster Arts cycle.
Gear Setup
The new Sustenance Flow gear set (3-piece) is fixed. Choose one remaining slot among Bio Auxiliary Protector, Crisis Escape Stamp (ultimate charge), or Sustenance Breath Auxiliary.
Bio Auxiliary Protector raises main stats directly and boosts Battle Skill, ultimate, and basic attacks for stable overall damage.
Crisis Escape Stamp eases slow ultimate charge if it feels stiff. If you are at potential 4 or higher, the -15% ultimate energy cost makes this stamp optional from potential 4 onward.
Skill Priority
Battle Skill >>> Combo Skill ≥ Ultimate ≥ Basic Attack
Zhuang Fangyi is a Battle Skill-focused DPS. The Battle Skill multiplier looks low, but her unique escalating Thunderblade damage structure makes the real Battle Skill multiplier very high.
