Rossi Party Build, Gear Setup, Skill Priority

rossi

Gilberta is Rossi's top party pick, and Crit Rate is the top stat priority.

Party Composition

Rossi is Physical, so she pairs well with existing Physical parties: Pog (Pogranichnik), Endministrator, Da Pan, and others.

Gilberta surged as the community's #1 pick — if you have her, slot her first and fill remaining slots. (Community pick rate 19.44%)

Wulfgard is Rossi's story family tie-in and a staple pick. (Pick rate 12.5%)

Pogranichnik's high SP recovery keeps Rossi party cycles fast and smooth. (Pick rate 13.8%)

Akekuri's fast Battle Skill animation interrupts boss charge patterns quickly. (Pick rate 13.8%)

Perlica, Endministrator, Da Pan, Chen Qianyu, Ember, Ardelia, and Last Rite also appear below 10% pick rate each.

The table below reflects early global community data — pick rates will shift with combat meta and future patches.

Rossi Stat Priority & Traits

Rossi's defining trait is Crit Rate scaling.

Crit Rate must be high for real performance. (Recommend 50–60%+ in town stat panel; 80–90%+ with all combat buffs.)

Prioritize Crit Rate first — few teammates or combat modifiers grant Crit Rate currently.

This means Rossi can push near 100% Crit Rate without overflow loss from external buffs.

Near-max Crit Rate is a safe setup until new operators or Crit Rate modifiers arrive.

Crit Damage Value Increase

DPS theory links Crit Rate and Crit Damage closely.

Raising Crit Rate automatically raises Crit Damage value — invest in both.

For Rossi, the closer to 100% Crit Rate, the more Crit Damage matters.

Currently few teammates buff Rossi's Crit Damage.

This suggests the devs may replace staples like Wulfgard with Crit Damage support operators later.

rossi gear

Gear Setup

Complete the MI Police 3-piece set first, then add one standalone piece with high main stats like Agility on gloves or other slots.

MI Police 3-piece synergizes with Rossi's Crit Rate mechanics.

The wearer must land frequent crits — ideal for crit-focused main DPS with decent hit count.

Slow or rare crits tank MI Police set value quickly.

Rossi's Ultimate hits hard — Ultimate charge efficiency on a standalone piece also works.

Skill Priority

Combo Skill ≥ Ultimate > Battle Skill > Normal Attack

Cost-Efficient Ascension

A1 is good value; A2 is fine if chasing near-max Crit Rate.

A3 adds healing — non-DPS healing options are almost always not recommended. (Even with higher healing value in recent Qingbo Stockade endgame.)

A4 speeds Ultimate charge for smoother cycles.

A5 (max) massively boosts Ultimate DPS and synergizes with A4 charge speed, also fixing Crit Damage gaps from Crit Rate investment.

Stop at A1–A2 or go full A5.

rossi weapon

Signature Weapon

Rossi's signature weapon raises Agility and Crit Rate — without it, near-max Crit Rate setups are impractical.

The 3rd stat, Fracture, is highest value and only reaches full stats through weapon refinement.

Land crits fast and often to reach the 16-stack cap.

Rossi only deals normal DPS at 16 stacks — DPS value drops sharply below that.

Recent gimmick bosses have 20+ second invulnerability (like Qingbo Stockade's beef zombie boss) or long airborne phases causing heavy DPS loss.

This is called sky DPS loss — Rossi loses all 16 stacks after 20+ seconds of sky DPS loss and must rebuild from zero.

20 seconds is short — one crit maintains stacks. Test stack retention during the beef zombie boss Nutrient Spray invuln phase if in range.

The 20-second reset is a minor flaw; a bigger flaw was found.

The red highlight shows 44.8% ATK.

We set near-max Crit Rate, so Crit Damage should also be maximized.

If Crit Damage replaced ATK here, we'd strongly recommend this weapon — unfortunately we cannot.

ATK likely supports Rossi's ATK-scaling Battle Skill and Ultimate mechanics.

Crit Rate-based damage scaling would have been cleaner.

Rossi must stack both Crit Rate and ATK — stats are spread rather than focused.

Crit Damage applies universally; replacing ATK with Crit Damage would still crit normally in theory.

Emphasis: near 100% Crit Rate with near-zero Crit Damage bonus yields almost no DPS gain — mathematically well known.

Rossi starts from base Crit Damage with few Crit Damage buffers from teammates or modifiers — worth considering.

Conclusion: the signature weapon is an excellent Crit Rate source, but ATK instead of Crit Damage on the key 3rd stat is the biggest disappointment.

Consider alternative weapons before buying Rossi's signature weapon.

Other Notes

Few Dijiang reception operators had both skills tied to reception until now.

Rossi's two Dijiang crew skills are both reception-focused, versatile, and use different modifier types to avoid additive/multiplicative stacking risks.

If you pulled Rossi, assign her to reception immediately. (Or you will forget for a long time.)
