v1.0 Boss Trio Guide - Rodin, Triaggelos, Marble

3boss

This guide covers the v1.0 boss trio: Rodin, Triaggelos, and Marble.

Overall Difficulty

1. Rodin: Very easy.

First boss Rodin is a training dummy — perfect for uninterrupted DPS practice.

If Rodin feels hard, you are a beginner lacking combat basics and party setup.

Review your party, then mash normal attacks with Laevatain or Yvonne as main DPS and use any skill when gauges fill.

No cycle study needed — trust your skill for a full clear.

2. Triaggelos: Suddenly harder, then manageable.

A gimmick boss with 3 phase transformations, constant movement, and occasional airborne DPS loss.

Pre-90 is easy; level 90 requires proper gimmick handling, some dodging, and decent DPS.

Most annoying trait: excessively long invulnerability during phase 3 transformation.

3. Marble: Harder, but 1–2 hours of practice makes it doable.

Early phase spends time on 4 tentacles; some spear skills hurt but healing potions help.

Poor dodging makes it unbeatable — 1–2 hours of dodge practice plus potions will get you there.

Watch the final phase sky slam — surviving a hit on main DPS is what matters.

Preparation

Easy difficulty still requires thorough setup and food buffs.

Each Endfield dungeon differs on food buffs, Wuling rest buffs, and healing potion rules.

This boss trio allows both buffs and healing potions. Wuling rest buff is unconfirmed but resting is recommended.

Also check forging and weapon etching progress.

roden

Rodin Guide

Rodin is the easiest of the trio — a large walking ground dummy and excellent sandbag.

Use Rodin as your sandbag baseline for DPS cycle research and experiments.

Note: near 75% HP, a cutscene triggers a hide-behind-walls gimmick that looks like an instant kill.

HQ classifies two instant-kill types:

Type I Instant Kill: Always kills the hit character regardless of HP — theoretically infinite damage.

Type II Instant Kill: Stops killing once HP/DEF reach a growth threshold — feels like ~9999 damage, a fake instant kill.

Endfield Rodin uses Type II Instant Kill.

Instead of hiding, stay out and sandbag Rodin with uninterrupted DPS, dodging only when he charges.

Devs will recycle bosses like Rodin later — practice now to crush Rodin II on release.

triaggelos 1

Triaggelos Guide

Phase 1 opens with slow meteor missiles — stay far away.

Interruptible charge patterns can be broken with skills, not normals. Fast animations like Akekuri help.

Early phase 2 uses a suspected Type I instant kill — immediately flee to the golden plant safe zone. (Confirmed to cast 2+ times.)

triaggelos 2

Phase 2 also traps you in floor AoE.

You can ignore the zone and keep hitting, or exit and use stationary skills like Plunge.

From phase 2, meteors create lava shockwaves on impact — dodge accordingly.

triaggelos 3

Phase 3 stealth can be tracked visually — close in and attack without breaking stealth.

Scary laser charge warnings — run behind and keep hitting until Triaggelos dies.

Marble Aggelomoirai Guide

Phase 1 starts with 4 tentacles.

After v1.1, all 4 operators start at 100% Ultimate — two strategies:

Strategy 1: Burn Ultimates on tentacles fast — tentacles die quickly but boss burst cycles may slow.

Strategy 2: Save Ultimates for the boss body only.

Either works — test what fits you.

After removing 4 tentacles, a red heart opens in the center — burst it down.

Consider saving Ultimates here too.

Phase 2 fights the humanoid boss directly.

Soul-like boss — failing to read attack animations causes HP loss and game over.

Dodge tip: watch red flashes from hands or eyes, then dodge immediately.

1–2 hours of steady practice lets beginners clear.

Save healer Ultimates like Ardelia for low HP emergencies.

marble aggelomoirai 4

After enough damage, the boss enters groggy sandbag state sitting still.

Do not miss this — fire all Ultimates for a burst cycle.

Ideal burst timing: all operators at 100% Ultimate when groggy hits.

Hard now, but this boss returns — practice pays off.

Final super slam pattern: around 50% HP the boss rises high with a red light pillar.

Painful but not instant death.

Dodge when the red pillar turns blue — press jump at that moment.

Spam jump if needed — long air time helps dodge probabilistically.

If main DPS is near death, quick-swap to full-HP teammates like Ardelia or Akekuri to absorb the hit.
